Overview:

The Childhood, Adolescent and Young Adult Hematological Malignancy Program at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College consists of a multidisciplinary team focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers arising in the bone marrow, lymph nodes and other associated hematological organs. The program is also focused on the education of students, residents and fellows who will be conducting scholarly and peer reviewed clinical, translational and basic research in hematological malignancies.

 

Furthermore, the Hematological Malignancy Program has several “state of the art” basic, translational and clinical research programs in Acute Leukemias, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Hodgkin Lymphoma and other associated hematological malignancies. Overall the program is equipped to design and deliver customized and personalized therapy for each child and adolescent in the cancer center diagnosed with a hematological malignancy.
