Areas of Interest and Expertise

Dr. Hochberg joined the faculty of New York Medical College in 2009, and is presently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics within the division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation. She specializes in hematologic malignancies, tumor lysis syndrome and late effects of cancer therapy. She is currently the Associate Director of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, Associate Director of the Hematologic Malignancy Program and Clinical Director of the Wellness and Survivorship program. She currently serves as the Institutional PI for the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Hochberg’s research interests involve development of novel therapeutics, including genetic re-engineering of immune cells for targeted immunotherapy against pediatric leukemia and lymphoma.
