The center is staffed by board certified physicians, highly skilled nurses, medical assistants, nursing aids, social workers and secretaries who provide a welcoming environment and treatment for infants, children, adolescent and young adults with malignant tumors, hematologic malignancies, congenital immunodeficiency disorders, inborn errors of metabolism and those who have undergone stem cell transplants for these disorders. Our priority at the center is to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to our patients while they receive infusion therapies.
The Infusion Center is equipped with comfortable chairs, TVs, books, magazines and toys which the patients have an easy access during their treatment. Patients receive their therapies after they are seen by the physicians. Our services include chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody, gammaglobulin, steroid, antibiotics and growth factor administrations as well as intravenous hydration. We also provide services for patients with sickle cell disease and hemoglobinopathies, as well as for patients with thrombotic and bleeding disorders. Our infusion center meets the medical needs of over 2500 patient-visits per year while delivering high quality medical care.
